    Arrive at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA / klia2). Clear immigration and baggage, meet our representative and transfer to your hotel in Kuala Lumpur. The Malaysian capital, where the Petronas Twin Towers stand over colonial shophouses, temple lanes and some of the best shopping in Asia. The rest of the day is free to settle in.     Kuala Lumpur: Petronas Twin Towers and the KLCC Park fountain show

    Breakfast at the hotel. A full day in Kuala Lumpur — the Petronas Twin Towers and the KLCC Park fountain show; Batu Caves and its 272 painted steps to the Murugan shrine; and Merdeka Square, the Sultan Abdul Samad Building and Masjid Jamek. The evening is free for dinner and a walk on your own. Overnight in Kuala Lumpur.

    Kuala Lumpur to Genting Highlands

    Breakfast at the hotel and check out. Leave for Genting Highlands — a 55 km, one-hour climb into the Titiwangsa range. A resort city at 1,800 metres in the Titiwangsa range, reached by cable car and cool enough to need a jacket in the evening. Check in on arrival and, as the day allows, the Awana SkyWay cable car and the Chin Swee Caves Temple. Overnight in Genting Highlands.

    Genting Highlands to Langkawi

    Breakfast at the hotel and check out. Leave for Langkawi — the cable car down and a 70-minute flight from Kuala Lumpur. A duty-free archipelago of 99 islands on the Andaman Sea, where a cable car climbs into rainforest above the long white beach of Pantai Cenang. Check in on arrival and, as the day allows, the Langkawi SkyCab cable car and the curved SkyBridge. Overnight in Langkawi.
