Overview
Eight days across two countries on one coach — three nights in Singapore for Sentosa and Universal Studios, Malacca on the drive north, two nights in Kuala Lumpur and two on the hill at Genting.
Itinerary
Land at Changi, clear immigration and meet the tour manager at arrivals for the coach transfer into the city. Check in and take the rest of the morning slowly. In the evening the group heads to Gardens by the Bay for the Supertree Grove and the Garden Rhapsody light show, with dinner nearby before returning to the hotel.
After breakfast, a half-day city tour past the Merlion Park, the Padang, Chinatown and Little India, with a photo stop at the Marina Bay Sands frontage. The afternoon is on Sentosa: the group rides the Singapore Cable Car across from Mount Faber, then Madame Tussauds or the Skyline Luge as time allows, and the day closes with the Wings of Time show on Siloso Beach.
A full day at Universal Studios Singapore with entry tickets on the group booking — seven themed zones, Transformers, Jurassic Park Rapids and the Sci-Fi City rides. Lunch is on your own inside the park so nobody has to break the day. The coach collects the group in the evening for the ride back to the hotel.
An early checkout and the coach crosses into Malaysia — carry passports and the group visa papers to hand, as everyone disembarks at the checkpoint. Mid-morning the group stops at Malacca for the Dutch Square and Christ Church, the A'Famosa gate and a walk down Jonker Street, with lunch in town. The drive continues to Kuala Lumpur for check-in and an evening at leisure on Bukit Bintang.
The morning starts at Batu Caves for the Murugan statue and the 272 steps to the temple cave. The city tour follows — the King's Palace gates, the National Monument, Independence Square and a photo stop at the Petronas Twin Towers. The afternoon runs out to Putrajaya for the Putra Mosque and the pink-domed administrative quarter, returning to Kuala Lumpur in the evening.
Check out after breakfast and drive up to Awana, where the group boards the Awana SkyWay cable car for the climb to the peak — the ride stops at the Chin Swee Caves Temple on the way up. Check in at the resort and spend the afternoon on SkyAvenue, the indoor arcades and the viewing decks, with the hill weather doing what it likes.
A free day on the hill. Genting SkyWorlds outdoor theme park and the Skytropolis indoor park are both on the doorstep, and the arcades, the shopping and the cool air keep the day easy for a mixed group. Optional tickets can be arranged through the tour manager the evening before.
Breakfast, check out and the coach runs down the hill to Kuala Lumpur International Airport, timed for the group's flight home. The tour manager sees the group through to the departure hall.
