What the price covers

Printed together on purpose. A list of inclusions without its exclusions is a quote you cannot check.

Included

  • Accommodation in the selected category hotel, resort or teahouse on double sharing basis.
  • Meal plan as booked; full board on all trekking days, where no other kitchen exists.
  • All airport, inter-city and sightseeing transfers by private air-conditioned vehicle with driver.
  • Domestic flight tickets named in the programme, including the mountain sectors.
  • All road tolls, parking, fuel and driver allowances.
  • 24x7 on-tour coordination and a dedicated Nepal destination desk.

Not included

  • International airfare to and from Kathmandu, and airport taxes on it.
  • Monument, national park and conservation area entrance fees, TIMS cards and trekking permits — quoted on request or paid direct.
  • On a trekking package: the licensed trekking guide and porters, their wages, insurance and equipment. These are quoted separately, because they are priced per walking day and not per night.
  • A separate accompanying city guide; the driver is not a licensed guide.
  • Nepal visa fee on arrival and travel insurance, which must cover helicopter evacuation on any trekking package.
  • Optional activities not named in the programme — the Everest scenic flight, paragliding, ultralight, bungee, rafting, jungle safaris and elephant-back rides.
  • Meals other than those stated, hot showers and device charging on trek, bottled and alcoholic drinks, laundry and personal expenses.
  • Tips for guides, porters and drivers.
  • Extra nights, transport and meals caused by a delayed or cancelled mountain flight, which is a weather decision and not a schedule one.
  • Anything arising from circumstances outside our control — landslide, strike, weather, or a change of permit rules.
